Aims and objectives:
The trust is a voluntary organisation and educational charity. Founded in 1984, it has achieved a note-worthy track record for conservation and innovation and there are now 37 similar Garden Trusts in the United Kingdom.
Services and activities offered:
The Hampshire Garden Trust helps to provide for the long-term care or renewal of, gardens, parks and designed landscapes endangered by neglect and development. It actively seeks opportunities for new public gardens. It encourages improvements to school grounds as a first step towards understanding and appreciating landscape.
Special needs catered for:
We try to ensure that special needs members are able to attend at least some of our events.
Charges:
Single membership £15; Family membership £22; Students £10; Schools £25; Associations £40 p.a.
